I wasn't sure about purchasing a book focused on architecture. After all, I won't be changing the design of my home. I'm glad I did though. I thoroughly enjoyed reading the authors thoughts and the homes are spectacular. The colors are mostly neutral with lots of stone but they are both beautiful and livable at the same time.I just finished a book where the designer talked about decorating for real life but the photos were very staged and I couldn't imagine living in them. Not so with this book. What struck me is how comfortable the houses seem and I could wish for the opportunity to sit in themBeautiful photos, lovely homes, and enjoyable text. Fantastic!
