I love, love, love this coloring book! The pictures are beautiful and creative, making them so fun and relaxing to color. It is easy to color an afternoon away with this incredible book!
Wonderful pages to color. Some are very intricate and some are a bit more simple. Designs are printed on one side of the page. The paper quality is very good. I've used markers, gel pens and colored pencils to color the designs. You will get hours of enjoyment from coloring in this book.
This is my first "adult" coloring book and after spending a ton of time researching the different ones on Amazon, decided this one would be a good one to start with. I haven't started coloring in it yet, but the quality is excellent and I love all the pictures. I will definitely be purchasing more from this author in the future. I'm planning to use the Stabilo 30 point 88 Fineliner markers (lots of research on the markers as well!). I'm not sure if the pages will bleed but I do plan to put something behind the pages just in case. There is only one picture per page (not double-sided) so that means you can use any pen/pencil/marker you want. I even like the spine of the book. The stripes continue from the front left to the back so if you had quite a few of these they would look pretty cool on a bookshelf. Weird observation, but still. :) I'll update again once I've actually colored in it. :)Update: 5/22/15: I've had this book since July 2014 and have only colored two full pages. I don't get to it as much as I wanted to, but it also takes quite a while to finish one page. I think these pictures might be too detailed for me. I'm still not sure about the markers I've decided to use in this book either. I'm using the Stabilo Fineliner markers and they don't seem fine enough. I've considered other options like the Bic but I'm not sure those would be much different. We do have the Sharpie ultra fine pens but those aren't as sharp as the Stabilo. The pages do bleed so I put a manila folder behind the page I'm coloring. I'm not going to knock down any stars because I still think this is a high quality book and I think it's a good value, but since each page takes so long to color I may look at other options in the future. I like to get the pictures finished so I can see it finished and move on to the next.
I love the designs in this book! The only thing I wish was different is the thickness of the pages. I like to color with markers and the pages are kind of thin so the markers bleed through to the other side.
I received my Flowers Designs color book. It has been keeping me busy and my mind off of things. It seems when I start coloring that my mind (finally) goes blank and I can exhale and relax and just color and not have ten thousand thoughts rushing through my mind. Very good for highly sensitive Empaths.
Love this coloring book! Provides the stress relief I need while allowing me to be creative. I use mostly ultra fine point Sharpies, but love the contrast that highlighter markers make.
Love this book. Lots of variety from easy to complicated design work. Simple flowers to intricate designs. Endless hours of coloring and worth every penny. I plan on getting more books from this artist.
I never knew such a thing as adult coloring books even existed. I am totally smitten with the idea! I loved doing those black felt posters but the design choices were limited so I quit coloring for a long time. I so enjoyed it while it lasted. I excitedly searched and choose this one as my first and I am not disappointed. I love flowers. Very pretty flowers and flowering designs. Nice outlining and the paper is of good quality. I used gel pens on the bigger designs and only one shade out of the many that I used bled through a bit onto the next design. The smaller more detailed designs will require fine tip makers or colored pens/ pencils. This has been so relaxing and fun. Time and space just fade away. I get lost in this. My mind clears and nothing else is there except the next shade I will choose. If you need help centering yourself so to speak this will do it without any effort on your part. It just happens! I have since ordered about 10 other coloring books even though I have not yet finished this one. I am so sold on this! Very inexpensive hobby and so good for your peace of mind. Color me priceless!
I love this coloring book! The designs are great and the pages are bright white so your colors really pop. Coloring is really therapeutic and really helps free my mind and relax after a long day. The only thing that could make this coloring book better was if it had perforated pages. I will definitely be buying more coloring books from this artist
