This book is a game changer. This isn't another diet that can be a fail, this is a whole lifestyle change with the ability to still enjoy life and have the things you love.The first part of the book talks about Jasinda's journey and it will cause you as the reader to take a cold hard look in the mirror at yourself. I know it did for me.The second part she breaks down what needo to be done. It will feel overwhelming at first, but keep reading. Don't put it down and don't feel discouraged.The third part of the book breaks down the journey (not the diet) into 8 weeks. It makes it seem so much more manageable and able to do. Nothing scary there!The fourth part includes some faqs, playlist, and even some great recipes. There is also recommended cooks books and additional reading.Jasinda's plan sets us up for a life long change, not a diet that will cause the weight to come back on as soon as you are done.This reader is ready for the challenge.

I bought this book with trepidation. I am not plus size. I already work out. I don’t live in the States where it is easy to find different substitute food items. I live in the central valley of Costa Rica and am an avid hiker in the mountains surrounding our house. How could this book be for me?Well, it was! I want to improve my health and get in better shape, so I bought this book and read it in two days, because I couldn’t put it down. I loved reading Jasinda’s story (I have been a fan of her books for a while). She totally inspired me personally (if she can improve her health after so many tries, with 6 kids and 1 finicky husband, I can do it too – with 0 kids and 1 finicky husband). I love how she researched TONS of different health and diet plans, and then threw them all out – and went with what she knew to be true in her gut. Very eye opening to me about the sugar and black and white plates. I’m part of her Facebook group (isn’t she the coolest to do a group for us?) and can’t wait to do her challenge!Thank you, Jasinda! YOU ROCK!

I was so excited about this book! My favorite part was actually Jasinda's back story. It is nice to know that I am not also e in some of the feelings I have had about my body. A lot of the information I knew, but this book gave me tools to try to make it work for me. The printable recipes and guides will be a great help in this lifestyle change.

I just finished reading this, and I'm excited to start the 8 week challenge. I love that everything is spelled out and listed. I really enjoyed Jasinda's story. The book is not only a great resource full of advice and information, but there is a lot of inspiration in it too. It is very easy to see that a lot of work went into this book, and I really appreciate that. It definitely seems like something I can do, and I look forward to doing it.

There was so much hype for this book from Jasinda's followers that I was expecting so much more as far as her plan goes.I appreciate that Jasinda let us see into her personal life and struggles, I really enjoyed that part of the book, it's nice to see others who struggle in similar ways share their stories. It makes seeing their success so much more grand, and it has you routing for not only them, but for yourself. It can be very difficult to share personal stories so I applaud her for doing so.It's her nutrition plan that had me feeling a little flat. It was said it would be something I'd never seen of before, but I have. In fact, it's not so different from the plan my doctor put me on. It's definitely a plan that WILL work, I know, I lost 60 pounds with my doctors similar plan, and for some it may be sustainable. However, Jasinda only lightly touches on emotional eating and I feel like this is the trap many women, myself included, fall into. We can only follow a plan so long before there's a crack in the seam or one event can trigger old eating habits. For me, it was one simple weekend away. I understand it's hard to address everyone's emotional eating habits though, because we all do it for different reasons, so perhaps it's just something that can't be put into a book.I definitely plan on following her 8 week challenge group, and I'm really hoping with the support I see some more long-term lifestyle habits. I'll definitely re-review when I'm done following the challenge.

I love how well thought out this book was. Jasinda did a great job showing us her struggles and what worked for her. I cannot wait to try the Wilder Way with my family.

There where so many parts of this book where I both laughed and cried! I know I'm not alone in journey! I feel like this women was writing my life's story! She gets what it's like and walked (no pun intended) a mile in my shoes!I can't wait to begin! It's been a long time to be excited about a fitness plan!

I purchased this yesterday and read it all in one evening. I am a huge fan of Jasinda's romance books and I also am obsessed with healthy living so I was really looking forward to hearing her story. I could relate to a lot of her lifelong relationship with food.I think what she has changed for herself and her family is amazing and while I disagree with some of the foods she has not given up, especially in light of the risk of diabetes, I think everybody has to find their way. She may eventually discover what I have discovered - as I am sure her journey is still evolving.Great read, especially if you have a lifelong dysfunctional relationship with food and addiction to sugar.
