Can't believe the amount of info in here, on EVERYTHING. I'm sort of new at gardening (flower), and this book takes me by the hand and tells me everything I need to know. It also covers trees/shrubs, vegetables, starting beds, pests... I don't think they left anything out. If you live in CO, get this book.
I am a CO front range gardener and this book is AMAZING. Such great advice, including very specific advice and guidance for plant varieties, weather patterns, and the myriad microclimates we tend to have all in one yard. I love this book so much. It's also just a great browse. Really inspiring.

Love this book, im new to my state and not really sure about gardening here. This gives you a month-by-month of what and how you need to learn how to garden in the mountains. I’ve lived in the south all my life so I’m use to hot humid climate. Snow and wind are all plentiful here,so it will take time and a great book like this is very helpful
